Chiropractors Carrie Gilstad and Will Stewart opened their doors late last year and have been growing their business by offering more than just chiropractic services. They offer a range of health and wellness services.
There are lots of things that create interference in our bodies and our lives. It could be a bodily injury, surgery, daily habits, the foods we eat, emotional situations, stress, financial limitations, or almost anything that creates interference. This interference, called "subluxation," creates patterns that may keep you from reaching your potential.
Dr. Will and Dr. Carrie make a great team because they focus on complementary techniques. Dr. Will focuses on the biomechanical side, while Dr. Carrie works with the emotional, spiritual, and chemical aspects.
"We encourage you to take personal responsibility for your own health. We want to help you with that. We won’t bully you into treatment you don’t want or techniques you don’t like. We’ll make suggestions and facilitate your treatment to heal yourself."
Dr. Carrie specializes in energy healing and other techniques, such as Reiki, Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) and Cerebrospinal Fluid Technique (CFST).
Let’s talk about NET. Almost everyone knows the story of Pavlov’s dog. He associated the ringing of the bell with food...so when the bell rang, he came to eat. We do things like that, too. But some are not so obvious. Sometimes negative emotions get stored in our bodies. NET helps to find these and release them.
For example, you may be afraid of something because of some occurance in the past...when really there is no reason to be afraid. NET can help you release the negatively charged emotions and help you feel better and accomplish more in your life.

Our therapist, Lisa Fleming, LMT, has been practicing and teaching massage therapy since her graduation from the only COMTA accredited massage school in GA, ASHA School of Massage in 2007. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to every session. Holding a degree in Psychology, her understanding of the mind, body, spirit connection sets her apart from other therapists.
