Caterer Steve Malone loves to create wonderful food and fabulous centerpieces. Now he's offering you a meal for $10 (gratuity not included). Call Steve to participate in a fun outing.

Looking for a family outing, or an inexpensive date, A Slice Of Life Catering has an option for you. Caterer Steve Malone loves to cook and cater for his clients, but he wants to give back to the community, too.

He has arranged to serve meals twice a week (Friday Dinner and Sunday Brunch) at the Vermont Mustard Company on Cumberland Blvd.

Starting July 15th, Steve will offer Friday night dining from 7 - 10 p.m. for $10. You’ll get a choice of Thai Shrimp with Rice or Spaghetti with Meatballs or Italian Sausage. Your meal will include a salad and vegetables along with a beverage (coffee, tea, or water).

But wait, there’s more. You can bring your own wine or beer. So you can enjoy a great meal out without paying a lot for drinks.

There will be an a la carte offering for appetizers and desserts.

On Sundays from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., Steve will offer brunch for $7 ($1 more for meat). The brunch special will be Eggs Your Way with a fresh fruit compote and assorted breads. Coffee, juice, or milk is included. For $1 more you can have turkey, bacon, or ham with your eggs.

The House Special is called Adam and Eve on a Raft and includes eggs, toast, and more. You just have to come out to see it.

Reservations close on Wednesday for the meals to be served on the following Friday and Sunday.

Steve doesn’t want to own a restaurant full time. He likes to cater for special events…but this gives him a chance to offer a good meal at a low cost to locals.

Call 770-871-0280 to make a reservation. You must pay in advance via credit card over the phone, or by cash or check delivered to the Vermont Mustard Company at 2355 Cumberland Parkway, near Marlow’s Tavern. The Vermont Mustard Company is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday - Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday for breakfast and lunch.
